I’ve been a busy little fox!
I’ve recently completed work on several outstanding projects and I can’t wait for you all to see them.
First—we have the Ravenloft Mist Hunters Epic finale that I worked on with Jeremy Forbing. This is set to premiere in January of 2022, but won’t be available on the DMs Guild until later.
RMH-EP-02 by Jeremy Forbing & Ginny Loveday | DMs Guild release: August 9, 2022. An Epic adventure for 8th-level characters.
Second—I turned over some interesting work for Jeff Steven’s newest Villains and Lairs Kickstarter. There are EIGHT DAYS remaining to back the project and get in on all of the amazing content. Want a couple of FREE villains?
Go download these free villains to get a glimpse of the project, layout, art, and cartography. CLICK HERE to download Kerym Abrus by Ginny Di and They of Many Colors by Jeff Stevens
Third—I worked on yet another Epic, this time partnering with Andy Dempz to work on the Dreams of the Red Wizards saga. This is also set to premiere in 2022 and more info is still to come on that. If you liked my previous contribution, DRW-04 Foreign Affairs, then you’re definitely going to want to catch up on all the others so you can be prepared to play this one!
And to top all that off, I’m pleased to say that I’ve been selected to be a Herald for @dms_guild! This means that I get to offer you a discount to save 5% off orders of $5+ digital community-created content with my exclusive code: HERALDGINNY5. And more importantly, I’ll be promoting really cool content that’s been posted like She is the Ancient, a gender-bent adaptation of Curse of Strahd from @ItsBethTheBard. Ravenloft: Mist Hunters kicked off at the July D&D Virtual Play Weekend with the premiere of the first three adventures in its linear story arc. The first, a multi-table interactive event, asks characters to infiltrate a masquerade ball in search of a wayward academic; the adventures that follow will see the party wandering through the Domains of Dread, heading to Kartakass and Falkovnia and beyond! All adventures will premiere at Virtual Play Weekends before being released on a monthly basis to the DMs Guild.
Jeff Stevens is raising funds for Potbellied Kobold’s Guide to Villains & Lairs for 5E on Kickstarter!
A book of villainous NPCs to add to your 5th Edition game
The Dreams of the Red Wizards storyline continues as the Terminal Ambitions arc begins! This latest arc includes play opportunities for the Masters campaign ranging from Tier 2 to Tier 4.

Andrew M. “Fish” Popowich
Founder of the Sword of Odin design firm, and Creative Lead for the GRAM Role-Playing Game. Professional DM, published author of over 40 supplements online through DriveThruRPG.com, and author of an even more… diverse Kindle catalog.
I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and have never been able to escape the Midwest for more than a week at a time. I got my start GMing early and it stuck, leading right into game design to create enough content for what I was running (and to justify the obscene amount of worldbuilding I do in my freetime).
School quickly turned into a start in the office work/IT industry, but I didn’t give up on my creative endeavors. Instead, I took the same workaholic attitude and applied it to my craft, creating a massive amount of content and through brute-force developed my design process. Then I started tilting at windmills touring conventions to promote my games, which is what I’m starting to get back to, as well as having new games getting antsy to see production.
My passion hasn’t been all wasted on raising my own voice though, but by giving more volume to many DIFFERENT voices, to open new doors to exploration. The stories I tell at my table show a multiverse full of possibilities and splitting at the seams with nuanced characters to interact with over threats to defeat. I’ve worked with players to creep behind the curtain into publication, supporting them however I can.
Not only am I a one-person-design-studio, I’m also a freelancer! So if there is anything YOU need to be successful, from content writing to graphic design and illustration and even social media assistance, PLEASE just let me know at email@example.com!
Into the Den – Thoughts and Things
In October, I did my first two in-person conventions since the before times. On back-to-back weekends naturally because who needs to be at home when you can be away for nearly three straight weeks?! One thing I realized was just how much I miss people. Like…I know I’m an extrovert, but those small number of days just being surrounded by old friends—and brand new friends—really recharged my social batteries in a way that no video call can ever replicate.
To that end, I’ve been plotting out my 2022 con schedule, and woooo boy, for someone who doesn’t get to treat conventions as work trips, I feel like I’m being ambitious with my lineup. I do hope to see many of you at events in the future, whenever you feel that it’s safe for you to return.
In the meantime, some photos from GameholeCon (everyone in attendance was required to be vaccinated and masks were worn at all times while in the convention center) so that I can relive my joy at being with friends.
And what sort of show would it be for me, if I didn’t come home with far too many things from the dealers hall that I don’t need? What better way to support your friends after all?
Be kind, and don’t forget to take time for yourself.
Love from your friendly neighborhood fox.
If you’ve got anything you think I should include next time, reach out and let me know! Email to firstname.lastname@example.org
